A man is being investigating for allegedly pointing a gun at two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy at 10:43 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Johnson Street.
The suspect told police he had come to the house after receiving a call from his aunt that his daughter had been assaulted, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report.
The man arrived where his daughter was located, saw the three men outside and thought they were involved in assaulting his daughter.
Two of the witnesses said the man pointed his gun at the three, while the other said he didn't know if the gun had been pointed at them, according to the report.
The suspect told police he “charged” his gun and asked the men to leave but did not point the gun at them, according to the report. The case will be presented to a Warren County grand jury.
Burglary - $1,250 and a stainless steel cookware set valued at $100 were stolen between 2:45 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Monday from Bowling Green Appliance Center at 1260 Campbell Lane Suite 300, according to a city police report.
A steel door, a wall between businesses and two metal cabinets received $2,900 in damage. A hole was made in the wall between the appliance store and Personal Finance Company, according to the report.
Fraud - A man's debit card was stolen and used four times on July 31 at various Bowling Green stores for a total of $1,215, according to a city police report. The owner of the card said he lost it sometime the previous day.
Theft - Three necklaces and two gold grills with multi-colored jewels, altogether valued at $3,300, were stolen between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday from Intrigue Jewelers at Greenwood Mall, 2625 Scottsville Road. |
